Why we started Greenher

Hello, and welcome. If you're reading this, you're one of the first, and that means something to us.

The frustration that became a brand

I'm Bonnie. I've spent the last few years working in women's health as a nutritionist and behavior change specialist. That includes a PhD in women's health and, most recently, a postdoctoral research role at Monash.

Across those years, the same frustration kept surfacing. There was a real and growing body of research on what women actually need nutritionally, especially through the busy, demanding, often-overlooked midlife years. And then there was the supplement, supermarket and pantry shelves. Which rarely matched what women needed, or wanted.

Too many products were built around marketing rather than evidence. Too many made promises the science couldn't support. And too few were made specifically with women in mind.

Greenher came out of wanting to close that gap. To make something genuinely useful, grounded in research, and honest about what it can and can't do.

What our newsletter is for

Our weekly note is part of the same idea. A small, regular way to share what's interesting and useful in women's health, without the noise.

No pressure. No hard sell. Just four small things each Wednesday: one thing to know, one thing to try, one thing on your plate, and one thing from us.

We're really glad you're here.

The takeaway: Greenher was founded by nutritionist Bonnie Brammall to close the gap between what women's health research says and what the supplement shelf offers.
